What is a real time commute time from Santa Clarita or Thousand Oaks to downtown LA during rush hour? |
I will be moving back out to LA after 2 looooong years of being away at college in Minnesota. I MISSED LA!!!! Man, I love it out there! I use to live in North Hollywood which was a great location for an actor. This time I will be most likely living in Thousand Oaks, Woodland Hills, or even Santa Clarita. This time I'm bringing my long time girlfriend and her child and she wants to live in an area like the ones here in Minneapolis鈥uburbs. My question is what is a real time commute time from Santa Clarita or Thousand Oaks to downtown LA? I know what Google says (39 min) but what is it for real with rush hour traffic? Save yourself the stress of driving, take the Metrolink! Thousand Oaks to downtown in rush hour is about 1.5- 2.0 hours...Santa Clarita to downtown is about 1-2 hours You're looking at at least 1.5 to 2 hours for that commute during rush hour. If there's an accident on the freeway, 2.5 to 3 hours. |
