Westwood LA?

Does anyone know of a good hotel to stay in for 4/6 days at or close to WESTWOOD LA, then I intend to look for a small apartment in the same area, so are there any good appartments and not too expansive for 2 people, near Kaplan Aspect?

Westwood is a VERY pricey area, and apartments can be really expensive due to UCLA students living in the area. I would suggest living in the Palms area and either driving or taking the bus to Westwood for your program. Check out Craigslist for apartments.

In terms of hotels in Westwood a really nice but pricey hotel is the W. A cheaper hotel that is still close is the Royal Palace.

Westwood is definitely "too expensive", unless you happen to have $2500 per month to just toss around. Your best bet is to check into the Oakwood Apartments over on Barham, right on the LA/Burbank border. They specialize in temporary digs.
