What are the people like in los angeles?

is everyone trying to be in show business?

LA is a huge city, with a lot of diversity. There are lots of people from many backgrounds. There are some good ones, and some who are bad.

They are human beings just like any other person in the world...What do you think we are like???

it's a huge city man, you can't really put in general- there are lots of different people as in everywhere. but one thing for sure- most of them in LA are more laid back than people on the east coast

the interaction is awesome, despite of what someone said. I'm from NYC and the feeling here is like nobody cares about anybody (which I really like..) but in LA people are not so stressed and very laid back.
you feel like you're only in your car? go party, jeez! go downtown! go to the mall, beach..whatever! there are a lot to do, no one forces you to stay in the car... no even forces you to use the car! use metro!........ lol.. but really.....

and hollywood and those stuck-up rich *** actor people are not about the real Los Angeles. I guess, they're the ones who really cause the impression of LA having only stuck up people. not right!
I'm going to LA like once every three months or so.... can contact with people more easely than in NY and it's generally just awesome to feel relaxed in the heart of another megapolis....

Depends on what part you live in.

It's true that we're probably looser than people on the East Coast, however if you live in North LA it'd probably be a different story. Hollywood, specifically. You'd still have pressure from producers, not to mention traffic.

Usually people in Los Angeles have moved here from some place else. It is very diverse. The people are just like anywhere else.

The same. We have gangsters like in every city. We have very nice people like in every city.

never been there, going tho. but from what i hear. stuck up, think theyre better than you people.
im sure some of themare like that, but i, personally think there can be some good peopel there/.

People are people. There are the good and bad everywhere you go. To be honest with you, it is hard to meet people in L.A. There is not much human interaction. Watch the movie Crash. I think L.A. is a pretty isolated place. This a quote from Crash I like:
"It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something."
I was born and raised in the L.A. area and never saw other cities until just recently when I got older. I went to NYC a couple of years ago and could see the big difference. People say East coast people are nasty, but at least they have more human interaction than people here do. Here is a quote from Matt Dillon about L.A.:
"I just don't like it. In L.A. you can spend days without seeing another person. You see other people in your car, but without really making contact with them. I mean you really exist that way!"
I understand what he's saying. It's very hard to meet people here. You sit in your house, get up to go somewhere and sit in the car.

It depends on what YOU attract. We have great and bad.

i love living here. for the most part people are friendly.

old actors. and outta town hicks working at burger king hoping to be discovered for that million dollar lead. and they might just get their wish, If they don't get shot to death by some drug crazed gansta. oh what fun we have here .. 3.50 a gallon for gas , over priced housing 2 hrs to drive 30 miles, go to costco or smart and final you'll think you are in a foreign country because you will be one of the few that speak English as a first lanuage. tonzzzzz of funnzzzzzzzz, never a dull moment

I have lived in LA all my life and met all kinds of different people. Most of them are really nice. It's a great city. I love it.
