Is there a bus located in Downey that will take me to pasadena? Or at least near arcadia or temple city?

I heard that there was one bus near Stonewood mall that would take me straight to pasadena. I'm not sure if it's true, but I was hoping someone would know. I'm just trying to get close as possible to Temple City. Does anyone know the name or number of the bus? Also, I am trying to avoid using the gold line.

It depends on which part of Pasadena you want the westside or the east side here are some choices

well if you get to yourself to Atlantic ave you can board
Line 260 will take direct to Pasadena (along Fair oaks ave)
(west part of Pasadena)
or if you want the east part of Pasadena
you can take 266 (Lakewood/Rosemead bus )which also goes to Pasadena)
another option is to take the 115 (Firestone bus) to the Norwalk
green line station, then transfer to the 577 to El Monte
then transfer another bus line 267 which goes to Temple city from El Monte
(this routing is a faster but you will have to pay extra for the freeway)

I think you want to get connected to the 267 bus, which you pick up in El Monte at the station. If you can get the 577 that goes up the 605 Freeway, it will be fast. Try that website.
