Getting to Croyden? |
How do you get to Croydon from Arsenal Tube Station?? Croydon is not on the tube, it is on national rail though (www.nationalrail.co.uk). You can get to Croydon from London Victoria - a train goes there approx every 30 minutes. If you're going to Fairfield Halls then you ideally need East Croydon station but if you end up at West Croydon station then turn out of the station to your left, go round the corner, tap your oyster on the reader next to the tram stop and get any tram up the hill to East Croydon station (takes 4 mins) and walk from there. If you are out really late then there is a night bus, the N68 which runs from Croydon to Euston. It's at the southern end of the District Line extension. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/ Look at a map. Remember map's? You will have to get a train to London Bridge, try www.tfl.gov.uk for full details Piccadilly line southbound to Green Park, change to Victoria line 1 stop to Victoria. when you go to the railway station for your tickets just ask for a computer printout on how to get there. .It is very in formative and easy to understand Take the Underground to Victoria and then a Southern Train; fast trains from Victoria to East Croydon run frequently from platforms 15 to 19 and take 16 minutes. A Zone 1 to 6 one day travelcard will cover the whole journey but Oyster pre pay is not valid on Southern Trains. Take the Piccadilly Line to Green Park, change onto the Victoria Line to Victoria. Take the train from Victoria to East Croydon. Get to Victoria, then overland to East Croydon, they go very regularly [not West Croydon!] E Croydon is in zone 5 and the station is central within Croydon, where is the gig? |
