Things to do in LIverpool?

I am going to Liverpool this weekend and I was wondering what good sites there are to see? I am going to the Liverpool and Sunderland game and the beatles shop on Mathew St. what else is ther to see as I have a full day in Liverpool?

i will be in liverpool in a month and i am planning on doing the magical mystery tour...i heard its worth it...i am going to see their game against new castle or the one against reading

If you're only interested in footie and the Beatles you'll be able to fill your day easily enough. You might also care to tune your radio to BBC Radio Merseyside (95.8FM) which is nothing but footie and the Beatles all bloody day every bloody day.

If you were interested in theatre, galleries, drinking, the arts, eating, music, film, concerts, exhibitions, sex, dissipation and museums you would find enough to keep you busy for a week at least.

i love liverpool and the scousers.they doing the cultural thing so should be quite alot going on.look at the timetable of events.
i sure it was a slip of the tongue having poke at beatles.they put lp on the map

theres more to this city than football and the beatles

Why not go for a meal in the highest reastraunt in the UK ? Its On the 60th Floor of the beetham tour... Its called panoramic.. You will be able to see it as you approach the city from the east.. Its the tallest building.. right on the waterfront.

Pop into the 08 place on Whitechapel as this is where you'll get all your tour guide info. There's so much to do, depending on how long you're staying; numerous theatres, musems, galleries, two bus tours and the duck marine, several beatles tours, parks, sports, architecture, waterfront, bars, clubs, reaturants etc.

Hope you have a good time!:)
