I am travelling to Liverpool in the next few weeks.?

Might upset some people with this question, but is it safe to wear Liverpool FC Clothing in the streets? Have heard some pretty bad rumours, and I take them as just rumours. But just to be 100% sure...

It is perfectly safe, do not worry!:) You'll see people wearing both Liverpool and Everton FC gear, so you'll be fine!

Anyway, hope you have a fab time. Are you coming up for anything special or just a casual visit? Whatever it is, I hope you have a fab time!:)

Yes it`s safe ...You have heard bad rumors....enjoy Liverpool

yep its fine... and ur right they were probably just rumors... bad ones

Liverpool fan and always wear my Liverpool FC clothing anywhere around the city and never had any trouble, even if there is no match being played that day.
Probably a Man Utd fan who told you that rumour

of course its safe enjoy your visit

Yeah. Probably.

perfectly safe.

Ha ha, thats a strange rumour. It's totally fine, people wear football shirts all the time round here, both Liverpool and Everton.
Im sure you will be pleasantly surprised with the city! Enjoy your stay.

Yes it is but expect an Evertonian to take the mickey. it is the same if you were an Everton kit a Liverpool fan will take the mickey. It is all very good natured because there is something of a tradition that is one brother supports Everton the other will support Liverpool. if Dad is a Liverpool supporter his sons will support Everton. At a derby match they will go to see it together .
The last time there was an Evrerton/Liverpool cup final at Wembley the authorities had to five up separating the fans because they had all bought tickets for one another.First and for most they are from Liverpool.. There was less trouble than normal. The only real blight was when Metropolitan Police tried to cause trouble and were told to go away using short sharp jerky movements. Liverpool has many faults but is no worse than many a large city and is a heck of a lot better than some. Enjoy your stay talking the normal precautions you would in any large city
