Has Ringo Star betrayed Liverpool after his comments on the Jonathan Ross show.? |
Should Liverpool disown this self centered son and send him back to the USA with a flea in his ear never to return to his birthplace. I'm from Liverpool and ive always been cynical of the place. but take London out i would say Liverpool has got the best architecture in the country. But if i was Ringo and had his money i would gladly walk away from this place and never return! I dont understand why people get so upset for him telling it how it is,what do you want him to do?LIE! His new single and album have flopped, so he didn`t do himself any favours. I'm a scouser.don't know what he said and don't care always thought he was an ar$e anyway. Tatra, dear...he's had that 'American' accent since about 1980 - where did he reside. California, was it now...or is it still is?! How can you disown your home town? What a ridiculous question - get a life! If you were loaded, like Ringo, would you want to live in Liverpool? i don't think he meant it disrespectfully, but when your loaded, and never been here for forty something years, you cannot really expect him to say anything else ............................... Liverpool is not all about the Beatles or Ringo but they were a huge talent that came out of Liverpool not the other way round Yes he has, its his home town where he was born, it was rude to say no dont miss anything about it, although it may be true, and he has a flash house in America, but it was being who is was from liverpool, that got him where he is today, he could of been more thoughtful and say yes of course I do, Its my heritage, or my hearts allways here. But no, just be cocky and rude ! (haz has got it right, he has forgotton his roots and who he really is, scruf bag, by sounds of it) im not from liverpool but i was a bit surprised that someone should say things like that about their hometown. maybe they should rename the streets that are named after him |
