What do you think of Capital of culture?

people of liverpool ...Its fantastic liverpool won capital of culture ...but dont you think the council have gone the wrong way about it ....They seem to be taken the culture out of liverpool ...The work thats going on in the town centre as not created jobs for the people of the city they are all out of town`es .The road works are no different if anything they are worse i`ve never seen so many delays leading in and out of the town centre ..the only place they have concentrated on is the water front what about the homes and enviroments that people live in It`s the peoople who make liverpool ..But you can quarantee that when it`s all over the people of liverpol will have to fork out in community charges for the botched up job made by the city council..

I am afraid I have to agree with you about taking the culture out of our City and demolishing beautiful buildings or turning it in to student accommodation and employ 'out of town'es' and a 10 minute bus journey in to the city centre now takes 30 minutes and so much empty property and road works

I agree that they have failed to develop Liverpool to a suitable standard in certain areas but in other parts of this great city the position is much more positive. The most important element involves the re-positioning of my favourite team at Goodison.
