What is the speed limit for M62 westbound entering Liverpool? |
i was driving into liverpool one night and got flashed and got a ticket, i cant remeber seeing any speed limit signs, are there any and if so what are they.... please help. may of been going fast enough to get summons It drops from 70 to 50 mph about half a mile before the end. Definately less than 170mph Unless otherwise indicated, the speed limit on a motorway is 70mph. This can change with variable speed limits (like on the M25) or in roadworks. No excuses for not knowing how fast you were going or where the limit changed, I'm afraid. they are overhead just about a mile from the end of the motorway I think it is 50mph If there are no speed limits in view the 70mph still apply on dual carriageway all motorways are 70mph unless other ways stated Just before the last slip road coming on to the motorway at Junction 5 it changes down to 50mph and there are a few signs warning you. It is 70mph on the open road, which drops to 50mph for the last mile or so because of the various juctions, and it drops to 40pmph at the 'End of Motorway' sign just before the road drops to ground level for the big junctions at Queens Drive. "M" ..is for Motorway..so its 70mph.....but as its Liverpool and you will most likely get shot at ....i would do 150mph+ just to get out of the crap hole....sod the points or my licence.....Sorry to offend you " Barry's and Gary's shell suit lot ".....nuff said. |
