Did anyone go to the firework displays, in sefton or liverpool?

and where they disappointed in this years display. my daughter after getting her kids syked up. for the normally great display, was so upset, when just a few rockets went up. one record was played. people booed, and some said, the generous ones, that something must of gone wrong. what the hell is going on. no one will turn up nexy year, even if it is 2008. capital of culture.

I didn't go, but I guess they spent the budget on the 800 birthday fireworks in the summer.

Saw that from Everton brow, and it was spectacular. I have always found the display on the waterfront to be the best, but because of all the building and road works in town they haven't done it for the past couple of years.

Maybe they are saving it all up for a big one next year?

Nope

went to the one in newsham park it was crap

nope i never went to any. the only half decent one i ever went to was in the albert dock and they dont have it there anymore do they? just stay in and keep warm i say!

And why would it fail when you get people moaning about the slightest flipping thing...

I stayed at home and just watched firework displays coming from different locations from my bedroom window. I saw some nice fireworks too and I was warm and safe, so I recommend doing that next year.

Don't worry, I don't think fireworks will be the main reason why people will be visiting Liverpool next year but I'm sure they'll have a great one planned for next year.

capital of culture pmsl, does that mean the cars will be sat on encyclopedias instead of bricks lol
