Where is good for walking in the south lancashire/merseyside area?

Where is good for walking in the south lancashire/merseyside area?

Sefton coastal path, The Beacon at Skelmersdale, Formby woods with the nature reserve or the sand dunes at Ainsdale where if you are lucky you can see Britain's only lizard.
The tow path of the Leeds Liverpool canal is popular, and for Liverpool city centre there are several 'pod cast' walks allowing you to discover the history of the city.

pmsl take Jean Claude Van Damme with you

Depends what type of walking you want

You can have a good walk through the woods, where the red squirrels live, in Formby then into the sand dunes.

Parbold Hill has some nice walks.

and there is always Scotty Road on a Saturday night.............................but not recommended

Sth Lancs...The Trough of Bowland.
Merseyside.....Hmm, coastal paths are your best bet...as mentioned above, the Formby area.

I've provided a link to a website on Liverpool, but it also mentions the surrounding coast and countryside, which are usually best for walks.

Formby coast, Southport, the Wirral countryside or one of Liverpool's many parks.
