Anyone been to the beatles museum in liverpool??

Anyone been to the beatles museum in liverpool??

No.

It looks and sounds like tacky, exploitative rubbish for the tourists and like most Liverpudlians I couldn't care less about the Beatles, having been force-fed them and their 'legend' all our lives.

In any case you can go and laugh at the John Lennon statue in Mathew Street for nothing.
- Dim Beatles 'fans' couldn't recognise the statue of the young Lennon with his bike jacket and correct teddy-boy haircut so a ludicrous crash helmet of 'hair' was welded on!

No

I wouldnt goto Liverpool its full of English people.

Yes , but I thought it was a waste of money.

i have been,yesterday ,nothing special:)

yes I have been to the Beatles museum

If you're planning on coming to Liverpool as a visitor, believe me - there's a lot more to the place than the Beatles. If you want to soak up the Beatles atmosphere anyway, there are lots of free things you can see. Try walking down Matthew Street, where you'll find a copy of the original Cavern Club. There's also the bronze staue of John Lennon as well as the music wall of fame. In this "Cavern Quarter" you can also find a statue of Eleanor Rigby. If you're coming to Liverpool for the first time, I'd strongly recommend a visit to the Walker Art Gallery. This is now widely regarded as the best gallery in the U outside of London. You'll be amazed at just how many picture are in there that you'll recognise.

yes, but there is much more too see than that.

I have and if that's what you wish to do then I recommend it, even if others don't. However, you might want to try some of the other Beatles related tours also or instead, such as The Magical Mystery Tour or arrange trips to John and Paul's childhood homes.

Whatever you do have a fab time!

I'm sure thousands have.

YEAH ITS OK,THOUGH THE CITIES PARKS,THE MERSEY AND CATHEDRALS ARE MORE INTERESTING.
