I left limerick limerick 25 yrs ago has it changed much cossy?

It's changed a lot, hotels and bit retailers springing up like mushrooms, place is also heaving with cafes and that. Not the grey and dismal place in Angela's Ashes!

Actually quite a nice friendly city. Don't believe the Dubs, they just don't want to know that there are other places with a great nightlife in the country.

well its worse in ways.. i went ireland 5 years ago.. went limerick in november...

perhaps i should learn to speak latvian or polish.. how many irish women did i meet there? zero...

I think you'll find it has, quite a bit, like most other places. It's nickname is "stab city"

Lots has changed in 25yrs

Its actually called Kalaslahnikov city, i remember reading in the herald a few years ago some 16 year old walked out of his house with a shotgun and started blowin the crap outta a Garda car, classy.

Changed an awful lot a big new bypass on thedublin road the NIHE is now the University of Limerick. alot of O'Connel street has changed and the Dock are being developed. everyone is rugby mad. Looks an awful lot better than it did 25 years ago.
and there is alot more money about.

Hi ya I too am from Limerick left there 4 years ago and it has change a lot since then, its starting to look more like Dublin now, were you living in city or country ?
