Does anyone have a list of the best things to do in Limerick?

Most of the dozy bollicks who have given an answer here have probably no idea even where Limerick is....... let alone what is available and are only repeating media rubbish about stab city....just as applicable to any place in Ireland...Dublin more than most...!!
Limerick city is a wonderful historic place on the river Shannon.Fine shops and interesting buildings ,castles,museums and restaurants,all in an area that is compact enough to walk around in a day.
In the surrounding area there are plenty of things to do and places to see .
Nothing wrong here except the weather,and this year its been glorious..!

Assuming that you are referring to Limerick, Ireland a walk along the Shannon River is nice with a visit to King John's Castle and the Treaty Stone. The Guinness Brewery is a must if you like the beer. Also, a medieval dinner at Bunratty Castle is a definite requirement. It's on the outskirts of town. Enjoy!

. Get a car or get on a train or bus.
. Leave as quickly as possible.

There are many things to do in Limerick, but you will find that the top thing to do on most people's lists is to leave.....number two is to buy a bullet proof jacket and number three is buy some chain-mail to protect you against the thugs that haven't upgraded from knives to guns yet.
