Where do you live and what's it like? |
Where do you live and what's it like? I live in Leeds! hi there,i live in blackpool.s.s.in the season,,its crowded with people..tourists mainly..but,,i prefer it in winter time..its very nice, and you can get around the shops,x markets..i love blackpool..my kids grew up in blackpool..bye bye.mary.c. I live in the south part of Hampshire. We have two busy shopping centres in Portsmouth and Southampton and today the army marched through Winchester having recently returned from Iraq. Lots of people turned out to welcome them home and applaud them for the job they do. The area I live in is relatively safe and I can walk home in the dark without feeling fear. It is not uncommon to hear many languages now being spoken in the town on a Saturday which adds to the diversity of our lives. I don't think there is a great deal for young people to do but we do have a good Leisure Centre offering varied activities. The down side is our local post offices are being closed down and some of our hospitals are under threat of closure and yet more homes are built, more people come and less facilities are available to them, facilities for handicapped children have been closed and local schools have increasing numbers of children in the classes - in my opinion that is a recipe for things to change for the worse. I live in New York. As the capital of the world it is great. I live in Hampstead Garden Suburb London. Its a conservation area with attractive architecture and wonderful green spaces including ancient woodland and part of Hampstead Heath; most of the people are cold and snobbish however i am from leeds but moved to wakefield 12 months ago i prefer leeds nightlife wakefield it's great Leeds, seacroft.. its crap cause there's only little kids around theres only about 4 people around my age soo boring I am a scouser living in Leeds & I love it however it is very expensive compared with Liverpool. |
