How to reach leeds city from edgware(middlesex,UK) by cheapest way (tube/train/bus/ any other cheapest way)?

I am coming to Edgware , middlesex, uk this weekend from india and need to goto leeds city from there once my work is done at edgware. Please let me know the cheapest way either by tube/train/bus/any other cheapest method to reach above said place (leeds) with their source of timings & availability.

From Edgware you need to catch a Northern Line via Bank Underground train to Kings Cross Station. From there you catch a National
Express East Coast train to Leeds; they run frequently and take between 2 hours 5 minutes and 2 hours 25 minutes to Leeds. The cheaperst fares are those you book in advance; you can do this via their website or in person at Kings Cross Station. www.nationalexpresseastcoast.co.uk. is the 'Saver' ticket which can be bought at the time of travel and used on any train after 09-30am (anytime weekends).

There are buses from Victoria Station to/from Leeds centre. They are a bit slow though cheap. My advice would be the previous answer from David. The train ride from Kings Cross to Leeds Central is a most enjoyable trip

Go by train, its much quicker, and cheaper.
