Where are the good and bad areas in leeds? |
for the future thinking of moving from bristol to up north , i have children too so any areas suitable for a family ideally OK. I may upset some people answering this, but I've lived in most areas in Leeds, so I can give a non bias opinion. most areas have good points and bad but come up for the day and have a look round Guiseley is nice and places like Kirkstall and just outside leeds heading towards Guiseley. Armley not as good as there is a jail there. My friend lives in leeds and she says that it's great, they have really good entertainment, massive shopping malls, swimming pools, really big cinema's, loads to do. Forget Leeds and try Huddersfield. Leeds = BAD Avoid places like Gipton and Seacroft. Headingley is pretty nice, and closer to the city centre will be safer but more urban. I would say Seacroft ....My brother in-law has just moved from there it was a nasty place to live .....But there again it`s like every where you get the good and the bad ....! cas - whats wrong with Chapel Allerton? its a really nice area, especially for kids! they have a nice community there. |
