What is the cheapest way to get from leeds to london, train, plane or other except car as i dnt drive?

National express coach unless you can book well in advance and then you may get a special deal on the train but coach is usually the cheapest.

Coach is cheapest.Either that or stick your thumb out.

I got the train down a couple of weeks ago from Leeds, about 拢50 return per person. It was about 拢100 return on a plane.

You can get very cheap train tickets if you are able to book at least 7 days in advance, and the train is definitely the fastest as it will get you from Leeds to Kings Cross Station in central London in just over 2 hours. The operator is National Express East Coast trains. www.nationalexpresseastcoast.co.uk. Book your advance tickets via their site or at Leeds Station.

I just checked Megabus.com and got a price of 拢14 for the return journey,using Feb 1st and 6th as outward and return dates. Four coaches a day.I use them fairly often from Liverpool to London. They're OK. Train prices are a sick joke. Take a thick book to read,and some food and drink. There'll be at least one convenience stop,maybe two.

Fares differ from day to day as it depends on how many people decide travel on that day and how far in advance you wish to book.

The Cheapest way would be the www.megabus.com coach service, from 拢1.50 single. It takes About 4Hours. Otherwise the Train would be reasonable if booked in ADVANCE (Expensive on the day)
