Things to do in Leeds?

Going to Leeds on the 30th November-2nd December, staying with my mate at Opal 2 (his student flat), just wondering what there is to do in Leeds. I like shopping, I'm a girly girl-love shoes,bags,makeup, hair and body stuff, but I love my football (CHELSEA!!)- so need a pub that will be showing the chelsea game on sky aswell!

Anyone know of any nice little cafes/bars and shops that I would probably like?

as a leeds lass, well there are plenty of shops, we have the white rose centre, get a no 18 bus at corn exchange, bus station, we have a harvey nicholls store, victoria archade, we have a art gallery, the leeds armouries, lots more have a good time, we have loads of pubs, night-clubs, variety of cafes, resturants,

My advice? Catch the train - you can be in Manchester in around an hour.

Manchester has much better shopping than Leeds =)

Get on the bus to Edinburgh

Well we've got a Harvey Nicks in the centre of Leeds on Briggate along with all the usual high street shops. If you start at the top of Briggate and work your way down there are loads , and I mean loads of enclosed arcades that lead to all the designer shops in Leeds. Plenty of shopping there for you to do. As for bars to watch the Chelsea game, I recommend staying out of the pubs and going to either the Square on Boar Lane or the Sports bar opposite the art Gallery.
