Can you recommend a beautiful harbour around Yorkshire to shoot a film? |
Hi! I am a film director and I am looking to shoot a film on a Harbour. I don't want anything big or touristic. I am looking for something local, traditional and rough. It has to be close to Leeds as I don't have a big budget to travel far. Whitby is too big. Robins Hood Bay too touristic. Can you think of something better? Something more... cinematic perhaps. Thanks to all repliers! There are not many harbours in Yorkshire which are not touristy. Have you been to Staithes which is further up from Whitby...it's beautiful there... Can you get to Amble in Northumbria? Tough, picturesque and bleak. Go for it. |
