Otley is a Yorkshire market town of about 15,000 people, set on the banks of the River Wharfe. It is an ancient, friendly and picturesque town with a rich commercial and community life. The town lies in attractive countryside in Mid-Wharfedale at the centre of the rural triangle between Leeds, Harrogate and Bradford. Immediately to the south of the town rises Otley Chevin, which gives magnificent views over Mid-Wharfedale, and in the past provided much of the stone from which the town centre was built. Much of the town centre is eighteenth or nineteenth century or earlier and has Conservation Area status. Otley has been here from about the mid-Eighth century, when Otta made his Leah or clearing in the forest.

We believe passionately in the power of prayer and have many groups of people, such as Prayer Warriors and a Prayer Chain, who intercede regularly for our Church community, the town of Otley and the wider world. If you are in need of prayer for a particular person or area of your life please hang your request on the prayer tree just inside the north door.

Most people today believe in God - but what sort of God? Where does Jesus fit in? What about the Bible? How do we pray? What about suffering? As well as worshipping in Church, we meet together in smaller groups to support each other in our Faith and in our day to day lives. We don鈥檛 have all the answers but we are on a journey of discovery - growing to know God and what it means to follow Jesus Christ in the 21st century. Do join us.
