Moving to leeds shortly, is Bramley a dodgy area?

a friend of mine used to live there so i phoned and asked her
she said to avoid fairfield, broadlea,and gamble estates and swinnow is also abit dodgy ....she said some areas are quite nice but if she had to choose would go for rodley which is on outskirts of bramley .......hope this helps .......

leeds is dodgy full stop. don't go.

if possible try live just outside leeds

it has some lovely parts and some naff parts,some nice places in leeds are horsforth adel,cookridge,whitkirk,colton,
depends what you are after i guess
i lived in leeds all my life its nice where i am so i no complaints

kinda it depends where abouts in bramley your staying, it's not that bad, though try to go for areas like Pudsey or Stanningley, Farnley, there a bit better than bramley. By the way don't go eastwards, an live in places like Burmantofts, Harehills and Seacroft, they probaly worse than bramley anyway.I live in Burmantofts,and it's 3 times as worse as Bramley,really Bramley it's an ok place and I'd rather live there than were I live now.
