What is the nearest train station to Leeds Castle? |
What is the nearest train station to Leeds Castle? This question has been placed in the category for Leeds, If you are travelling from the Midlands or North then you will have a long and expensive day out. Leeds Castle is not in Leeds but deep in Kent. south eastern trains to bearsted then a bus Bearsted Station. Actually all you need is to ask for Leeds Castle (Kent). It's such a well known tourist attraction. Bearstead on South Eastern trains, the castle is then approx 4 miles away. There is a limited service to this station, so best to check before you travel and then see how often the bus goes towards the Castle, it drops you about close to the front of the entrance to the Castle, there is then a long walk up the drive to make to get into the Castle itself. As far as I remember the Bus is only 1 an hour during the day only and none on Sundays / Bank Holidays, but you would be better to check first. |
