Which is worse and why 鈥? Sadness or loneliness?

sadness is felt strongly .
loneliness is a neutral feeling that i can overcome by going out or watching a funny movie.

they are about the same. sad people are lonely and lonely people are sad.

This is a pretty hard question, but I think loneliness is worse. sadness is a state of mind, mood, a feeling we have. It comes and goes and as long as it does not stay around for too long, we should be fine. With loneliness, it is different. Loneliness often leads to sadness, but it also leads to depression and other extremely negative feelings. Unless someone really likes being lonely, they might be sadder than any other average person. Loneliness is more a state or stage in life. It is not just as easy to come and go. Very often when it comes, it stays around and causes all other negativity. So I would say, loneliness is worse.

Loneliness, sadness comes and passes but loneliness always stays.

loneliness is the worse feeling ever .. you can be surrounded by a thousand people but you're lonely .. i wish no one experiences it like i did .. it drove me mad ..

sadness however is treatable by people/events/nature and after a while you just forget it .. but how can you forget or fight the shadows of loneliness ?

I think loneliness is worse because you have no one to comfort you. When you are sad, you atleast have friends and family to support you until you feel better. Sadness comes and goes.

Sadness is worse, ...... you are sad bcoz of something that happened to you or to someone close to you.
But loneliness, you can change it any moment.
I am a person that most of the times enjoy my loneliness, and when I need to be with pple....I just do it.

Loneliness is not that bad bcoz u can always find another mate BUT sadness is hard bcoz it takes more time to get over it.

loneliness because it's always associated with sadeness...on the other hand sadness is not necessarily accompanied by loneliness

for me i think sadness is worse
coz oneday u"re a lone but tomorrow u will be in a group so it soesnit last forevr

bue sadness take it residence in ur heart and last longer and u cant take it out of ur heart unless u avoid it

It all depends on what is the cause.....

Sadness can be a passing phase caused by an event or circumstance but also by things like a chemical imbalance in the brain..

Lonliness can be a result of circumstances beyond your control or by behaviour &/or personality traits..

The worst is the condition that cannot easly be changed ...that could be either !
