Why does il sometimes become li? and bi becomes ib?

Argggh i hate it when random people answer the question and they dont know what theyre talking about!!!

ARABIC!

ITS ARABICCCC!!!

hi i think you mean il that comes before a noun in Arabic. actualy ur mixin 2 diffrent things in classical arabic you have el and and Alatheh. in most dialects its iL and alatheh is eli or li.
example: meen li sara2? in classical arabic its: man alatheh saraq
meen il sarrrrrra2? in classical arabic its: man el saraq
in the second one you stress the r with a shada which means a completly diffrent thing than the first one sarrrra2 is someone who consistanly steals sara2 is someone who stole something once. like the stealer and a the thief.

now to bi and ib
bi means in
example: bi sayyara, which means in the car
i dont realy know what you mean by ib can you give me an example and i ll hopefully be able to help you then.

EDIT}}} ----- i think i know what you mean by ib
Example ibtakol, ibteshrab or ibtoro2os
it is'nt realy Ib its only b but diffrent dialects such as egyptian tend to pronounce it more like an ib it indicates that a verb is in the present. example. el ra2asa a3da ibtoro2os which means the dancer is currently dancing.

What in the world are you talking about?

CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN MORE?!

when ur typing really fast... thats what happens. lol

dunno, blame Isreal

maybe you just can type i dont know......

I agree, I have not got a clue what you are asking.
Why didn't you state it was Arabic in your question, you may have got a proper answer to your question or are you too dumb to answer that?
Not too dumb to tick all the thumbs down though.

i forgot what it's called, dyslexia? i think that's where people tend to write things backwards or something but if that's not what you're talking about, then maybe it's because you're typing really fast so letters get mixed up.

illogical question

No good getting upset girl, you should have said it was arabic from the start. It is actually against the rules if you don't write in English.

Don't give me thumbs down when your question is in breach of the community guidelines.

am i boverd am i am i though na not boverd

lol at the above, take it easy girl :)))

I don't get your question myself El3nab.
unless I'm missing something these words aren't related.

"il" is the article "the"
"li" is "for"

il kitab li sami : the book is for sami.

bi: is for "in"
sami bil (bi + il) madrassa : sami is in the school
"ib": I have no idea what you mean by ib.

maybe if you give us examples we can help you better.

il means "the"
examples:
il benet: THE girl.
il teffeha: THE apple.

Now "li" means something completely different, it's a shorter "way to say: "yalli" wich means "the one that" or "what"

examples:
"el benet li ijit" or "el benet yalli ijit": The girl THAT came.
"li bet2assir tannoura" or "yalli bet2assir tannoura": THE ONE THAT shortens the skirt.
illeh li bta3rfo": Tell me WHAT you know.

Now for bi:
Bi is like a verb, meaning "is" or it can also mean "in" or "into"
Examples:
3am biyedross: He IS studying.
aymta biyerja3?: When IS he coming back?

The other meaning of bi:it's a short term of "bil" wich means in or inside.
examples:
hiyye bi ssiyyara; She's IN the car.
ana bi lbeyt: I am IN the house
What did u mean by ib???? Give me an example.

lmao youssef cant even speak it lol

lmfao ^^ let me answer this question because i am youssef and i don't speak arabic but i have been learning arabic for 11 years, and it's my first language but i still don't speak it

EKHRAS YA SHARMOOT ! ^^^^^

anyrubbish

al/el/il make something a definite article

like al-kitab = the book
el kitab = the book
il kitab = the book

i think you're talking about ili, as in describing something, like it

like " sam ili magnoon" = sam the one that's crazy :}

b/bi/be means for or by it's a shortning for 'bil'

biflose = by money
bil2lam = by a pencil

also it can mean is like

biy3mel eh? = what is he doing?

i have never herd of ib before, only in ibn=son
