Do you like to light your living room with 100 watts or you prefer a soft light or candle lights?

In my living room I like indirect light if is a normal day. (no birthdays or something like that) I like to have one or 2 lamps on , just in the small tables in the corners.
I dont like candles' smell.

I personally like bright lights.

I prefer lamplight with a warm light energy saving bulb - cheaper than the ceiling lights whih are incandescent. Sometimes I just like the light from the tv

Personally a lower wattage light and use mirrors to enhance the light in a particular direction and also upward towards ceiling for an overall soft lighting effect with only one or two 11 watt bulbs (energy savers).

I need to SEE!!! I would put flood lights in there if they wouldn't look SO out of place!

I prefer soft, but my husband is a wattage freak and since he is the one who changes the light bulbs he goes to the max.

I like to have lamps with 60 watts, and overheads with 100 watts (but using energy saving bulbs). I also like the lamps that will have three different light strengths. That way, if I need more light to see something, I can have it right there.

soft light and some extra light just in case .

"bright light bright light"...I'm a gizmo I prefer 60 to 40 watts

In my living room, i would like it to be around 60, in the dining soft candle light , computer room bright,.....

I do a lot of reading so like good bright light. Have exchanged incandescent for the new florescent bulbs. They don't seem as bright but use less electricity. :)

75 watts is perfect! but when im working fluorescent (Very bright) is the best!and less shadows too!

I like soft lighting everywhere, bedroom, living room, even at my office..

depends on what's going on that night, on VDay, lights will be dimmed or candle lights LOL

I can't stand direct light in my eyes. I prefer indirect lighting if I am reading. Other than that I prefer very soft lights ... better yet candle light. Thanks for reminding me, I need to get some scented candles!

A glass of a good red wine and candle lights.
