What would be get married for?

love or fame and fortune?
how do u choose ur life partner? how do u know they r the 1? who can u be sure that its not gona end up in another break up?

To be married for the last 33 years counts to give my opinion???
Never think to get marry only for money if you want to have a good marriage.
Nobody can say if a marriage can last or not. It will depends on both in the couple. Married life is not easy, one has to be tolerant, has to accept several little things that can bother us from the other person........as he has to accept that from you too.
It's difficult and requires patient and so much love.
Love..trust, honestity, friendship, and so much communication between the couple are the main "ingredients" to make that "association" works well.
even that...........is not 100% sure that the marriage will be a success.
As many pple says......marriage is a lottery. Ones win and another ones dont.
It's up to each of us to try to win that "lottery"

thatperson would have to be fine to me and i would have to be in love and he has to be financially stable just in case we have kids

& do not pay attention anything about sex matters.

I heard a bachelor of 65 years say it once to me ( Really ) " Even if marriage is a mistake , it is worth commiting it once ". How do you know that you do not like the food is only if you eat. There are many storuies of good marriages /bad marriage and all humans are not the same.You only know if you commit !!! How do you make friends if you only feel they will cheat or be untrustworthy ?

I'd get married for love. Fame & fortune never last forever cos there will always be someone richer, better looking & more famous. As for a breakup, if you really love someone and you don't rush into a marriage for the wrong reasons then there is a much higher chance of it working out. Just try your best at making your marriage work and leave the rest to fate. Some things cannot be controlled - except by free will & destiny.

Nobody is certain will end up in another break up, if you think this way , never marry in life.

Tell me, if there is not love, how can a person stand another for so long it and keep it going for all time?

Fame or fortune never must be a reason to married, marrying for that reason make someone cheap and less..

And sometimes there is some mistakes, when someone marry someone thinking that time love that person, but really wasnt' love but only passion or ilusion that moment... also that can happen... but, at least, that time was sincere.....

Your love partner comes to u. U don't choose him.
When u will see him, u'll know that he's the one, u will feel it in ur heart.
Even though u'd be taking a chance because nobody knows how a marriage can end up, you'd better marry him for love and be happy than marry him for something else and feel miserable because your heart doesn't love him.

Once I asked my Ex-fiance what are you marrying me for? She answered: To create family, To have life, To have future, etc... all answers except the important one: Because I love you.

She failed me, and since that day our relation start to fall till we broke up one month before our marriage.

Good question, and after 25 years I still don't have the answer.

Well you only need to look at the mixed up lives of those who chase fame & fortune to realise that neither of those will satisfy the needs that are within all of us .
Those needs are to be valued & loved ...it is hard wired into us & no matter what we might choose to chase in life , those built in needs will always come to the surface & demand to be satisfied.
If we choose to chase materialistic goals ahead of these that are more satisfying then we can hardly complain if at the end of our lives , we feel unfulfilled !
