Was does everyone think people run to vegas to get married??? |
Vegas isn't the only place people can get married. They can get married anywhere. Why is vegas known for this? Why. Not was. Because most states have a waiting period from the time you get a marriage license until you can be married. There is no waiting period in Las Vegas. Well, it's very luxurious there, with well known hotels, casinos, and restaurants. Who wouldn't want to run to vegas and get married ? Because lots of people do go to Vegas to get married. It's just a stereotype, I guess. But people also assume that if you go to Vegas, you're going to get drunk and gamble... You don't want to know... I don't know? I guess cause it's cheap and they have a high rate of Elvis impersonators and I mean everyone wants to be married by a fake Elvis....*rolls eyes*. Lol. I think just cause like everything is legal there and people get drunk and stuff and end up accidentally getting married.....and well, I dunno. But yeah, it is kind of wierd but isn't it called like the city of sin or something? Lots of people get married in Vegas. I did and it was a blast. 32 people came and we partied all weekend. The hotels all have chapels and they do all the work for you. All you have to do is go to the courthouse and get a license, and show up at the chapel on time. Because you can be married in minutes after getting the license without worrying about a church, etc. Yes, you could go to any county/state court house but in Vegas you also have a wonderful choice of hotels for the honeymoon. Remember Vegas is the vacation capital of the world! Las Vegas has no waiting period; except the line waiting to get to the alter or ceremony. We didn麓t run, but took 3 months to plan a traditional marriage ceremony there. it's cheap, fast and easy. almost all the hotels here have a wedding package, we have several chapels, and banquet facilities that cater specifically for weddings. no need for a wedding planner or thousands of dollars. |
