What's the 'Flamingo Hotel' like in Las Vegas?

I heard that it was rather old and dingy but others have said it's really nice and was recently renovated. Does anyone know if it was renovated? Also what's the weather like there in April?

Pretty much any hotel room on the strip is going to be adequate. If you don't like the casino, take a few steps, and you are at another one. The Flamingo is in a great location.
If you get a room with a view of the strip (at the Flamingo), you can see the Bellagio Fountains, very cool indeed.

It is one of the older hotels, but still ok. The decor is outdated if you ask me. Everything is glittery and pink kinda in a 70's porn kinda way. The location is great though.
