Whats your thoughts on the flamingo? |
im going to vegas in april and thats the hotel we are staying in last time i went i stayed at the luxor and loved it but i know we wont be spending to much time in our hotel my brother said the flamingo was good cause ist has it own casino My dad stays there every time he goes to Vegas. He loves it. My family is staying there when I get married in Vegas this May. (I'm staying at Mandalay Bay because that's where our wedding is at). Every hotel in Vegas has it's own casino. The Flamingo is nice. I like it because it's pretty centrally located so you get to see everything at a glance. It's also a lot closer to some of the bigger shows. I went to the Flamingo, and they refused to sell me a drink. I have actually heard that a hotel names the westward ho is a good deal. I know it sounds silly but i know people who have stayed there. Its right on the strip, its pretty inexpensive and they have free drinks in thier lounge for guests. I heard it was nice, have fun. If you stay at the Flamingo, you must must must see the show there by a group called "Mosaic". They are the best entertainment for your buck! Wow. That's one long sentence(?). The Flamingo is a good mid level hotel right in the heart of the strip. If the check in line is busy it can be a long wait. Common areas are a bit worn in places. It has a large pool area. Standard rooms are ok but could use some updating. New "Go rooms" have nicer amenities. The buffet is awful. There is a monorail station in the back. All the major hotels on the strip have a casino. What??? I stayed at the Flamingo and I would stay there again. It is one of the older hotels but still is a good find. All Strip hotels have their own casino. If you loved the Luxor, the try the Venetian. The Flamingo is nice but not modern. It's a good location. That's all the matters to me. I got married at the Flamingo in 2006. |
