Have you ever tried to book a trip for Vegas and then find your hotel booked up?

As in, when you got to the hotel, they had no rooms? If that's the case, I would hazard a guess that they would have to accomodate you somewhere else, then. Kinda like when your flight oversells.

Did this happen, or are you concerned that it will happen?

Just be polite and the hotel should find you a hotel of equal value and quality.

I live here now. Used to use vegas.com to get my accommodations was never disappointed.

No. In a town where there are 100,000s of rooms, that's an improbable thing to happen (not impossible though). If that does happen, have your reservation receipt and demand that they accommodate you or upgrade you to a better room. Usually that means it's their fault for overbooking the place and not checking their records. Again, it's very unlikely that will happen in Vegas.

Since you only tried to book and room and were told there were not any rooms left at that hotel, did you try another hotel?
