Where exactly is that sign?

I know, Las Vegas.. but precisly where?

I'm sorry but Las Vegas Blvd runs North and South.

It's on the south side of Las Vegas Blvd. You'll see it as you're driving North bound on Las Vegas Blvd as you're approaching Mandalay Bay.

It's on Las Vegas Blvd. as you're coming into the city from the west.

There are now 4 I believe, but the original that was erected in 1959 sits on LV Blvd S, in the median, across from the closed down Klondike hotel & casino.

There are now "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" signs on the Boulder Hwy near Sam's Town another one in North LV(so I'm told) and another on LV Blvd just before you get to the downtown "Fremont Street" area. That says "Welcome to Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas"

I believe Jack is right about four signs. The original sign, on Las Vegas Blvd, south of Mandalay Bay, has been moved south as the strip expanded.

It is actually in the unincorporated city of Paradise, NV (which uses a Las Vegas mailing address). The actual city of Las Vegas is several miles north.

Just a bit of trivia.

The sign is about one half mile south of the Mandalay Bay in the middle of the street before you reach Sunset Road. Did you know you can buy a replication of the sign, one small battery operated and one large using electricity.

The sign was designed by a lady who never asked for a penny in what is not known world-wide as the presentation of my city, much like "Littlest City" is for Reno

Well if your at Mandalay Bay for instance, go out to the strip, turn right (south) and it's about a half mile away in the center median just past W. Russell Road.

Ironically, it's several miles south of Las Vegas. As you head to the Las Vegas Strip from the airport, you'll pass the sign along the way. It's a short trip.
