Have you ever been to or stayed at Hooters Casino? how was it?

Stayed at Hooters a year ago last Thanksgiving. It is pretty lowkey and rather small, but the rooms are nice, if small and the rates are very good. Try NOT to stay in the bungalows...they are right next to the pool and it is loud out there almost all the time. The restaurant is more like a coffee shop, but the food is pretty decent. There is a Dan Morino (I don't think that is spelled right) restaurant right next door. The Hooter's restaurant had 99 cent shrimp cocktails while we were there, don't know if they still do. I would stay there again, but my favorite place in Vegas is The Orleans.

Its a decent location and sometimes pretty cheap. If you just need a place to stay it will do. There's not much else to do there. The place used to be called the San Remo. A lot of my college buddies loved that place and were sad to see it change. It was nothing spectacular, but they had decent odds, low limits, and cheap food. They pretty much redecorated the place, brought in some Hooters girls, and raised limits and prices. Then they realized that no one was willing to pay those prices and lowered it a bit.

Hooters is a redo of several older casino hotels. It is small, clean but the casino is very noisy.
