Has anyone stayed in a guest suite at Excalibur in Vegas? I'm thinking about upgrading for a 4 night stay.

Is it worth the extra $ ?

I haven't stayed at the Excalibur but I checked out the rooms online and their regular suites look pretty terrible. But if you are not concerned for looks then why waste money, I am sure they are clean. But if you are then I would just use the money it would cost to upgrade and stay at a nicer hotel.

A friend stayed at the Excalibur and I found the room clean and very nice but not super fancy. But Excalibur is a nice place to stay because you can walk through the connector or take the tram to the Luxor and the Mandalay Bay; free.
You can cross over the street bridge and go to NYNY and the attached Monte Carlo, which has a free tram to Mirage.

I stayed here at the excalibur last october. The room was neat and clean but yes it is not super fancy. The only thing missing is a fridge. if you really need a fridge. If you take your children along with you. Excalibur is perfect for you since it has several children entertainment spot there like the sort of small playing zone or spongebob squarepants shows.

But if you there with your friends, i might suggest new york new york or mgm grand.

As the first answerer said, Excalibur is awesome if you are going with family. The fairy tale atmosphere cannot be beat if you have kids with. If you are going with friends/adults you will want to spring for a stay at another hotel in vegas. They all have a slightly different feel.
