Room rates in Las Vegas are not static. they change daily.

Rates will depend far more on when you go, than where you stay.

Avoid weekends, large conventions and special events, this will save you a fortune.

There are times you could stay in a wonderful 5 star hotel in Las Vegas for under $100 per night. There are also times you could pay more than $100 per night to stay in a 2 star hotel.

Without knowing your price range, I can't really answer, but check out www.vegas.com for room deals. Also, if you go from Sunday through Thursday, you get the best room rates.

Hi there!

I stayed for like $30 at the Knights Inn, but I DEF DO NOT recommend it. It was a terrible, and not close to the strip (closer to the airport). If you want something around $50 a night, go to the Hooters Hotel. It was clean and just 1 block from the strip. You won't be dissapointed. Have fun!!!!

Here are some good winter specials. Most of them are weekday check-in

Luxor from $69 /night
Circus Circus $42 /night
MGM Grand $89 /night
Treasure Island $89 /night
Mirage $71

Off the Strip
Hard Rock from $58 /night
Palms from $69 /night
Gold Coast from $18 /night
Orleans from $18 /night

Here is Vegas.com, go check it out! It has a lot of good info.!

We always stay in Excalibur because it is a decent hotel (the castle) surrounded by upper scale hotels for a great price. We usually pay $51-$81/night. This year we got the $51 rate for 5 nights. Their address is
3850 Las Vegas Blvd S
(at Tropicana Ave, south strip)
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Luxor is next door and is also a good option when they run specials. It is a pyramid and their elevators are called inclinators because they move at an angle instead of straight up or down. Their address is

3900 Las Vegas Blvd S
Las Vegas, NV 89109

MGM also has good rates a lot. I saw them for $69/night during the time we are going. It seems to be a pretty popular hotel and is right across the street from Excalibur. Their address is
3799 Las Vegas Blvd S
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Other than that, you are probably going to pay over $100/night for a themed hotel, unless you go to the north end of the strip, downtown, or off of the strip, and I don't like to stay near any of those. But if you are willing you may want to look up Stratosphere or Circus Circus.

I'd stay at Bill's gamblin hall and casino. It's well worth the money for the best location on the strip.

Try this website http://www.cheaphotel-s.com , you can search through 30 over websites and 700,000 hotels worldwide. You can choose to search through hotel ratings and price.

Good luck. Have a nice trip.
