Stay at the Belagio it is amazing! I know it is pricey, but it is a one in a lifetime experience. It will be worth your while, and money TRUST ME!

Trust me you will never be bored. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.

Wear good shoes. You can walk miles with no problem. Also learn to ride the bus along the Strip. You will save a ton of money over taking a taxi.

The Luxor Hotel is awsome.

Bring chapstick

You will spend a lot of time just taking in the view of the strip and walking in the hotels. They are all themed and are really cool. If you sit down at a bar, you will almost always make a friend, but drinks cost about $8. But if you gamble, you will get unlimited drinks for free when there is a cocktail waitress around. The safest gambling is the nickel video poker. You can put $5 or $10 in a machine and play for hours. The Rio Buffet and the Planet Hollywood buffet (Spice Market Buffet) are the best in my opinion. Rio is off of the strip but they have a free shuttle to the Rio from Bally's on the strip. Rely on the bus for transportation up and down the strip and to downtown. It's pretty cheap for an all day pass. If you like Star Trek, take a ride on the Monorail from MGM to the Las Vegas Hilton where they have "Quark's Bar". There are Star Trek characters walking around while you eat and drink. You will have fun, and you will want to go back every year. This is our third year going because I can't bring myself to say no to Vegas and go somewhere else. Have Fun!

It was two years ago. I saw all nine magic shows that were showing at the time. I also saw three Cirque Du Soleil shows. I also bought my first digital camera. I spent several thousand dollars in a week, but it was worth it.
