Travelling from Avignon to Montpellier... Elderly couple..? |
My folks (in their 80's) are flying to see my siblings in Montpellier.. problem is that can only get a flight to Avignon, and then have to somehow get to Montpellier... is there an easy direct way of doing it? How much would a taxi cost? Bus..? Easy to get to train station.. A taxi from the airport to the train station costs about 22 鈧? Montpiellier is about 100 kms from the Avignon Airport. they will need to take a taxi or private shuttle into Avignon and then take the TER (Regional Express Train) to Montpeillier. It is about an hour long train trip. The fare is 14.30 euros per person. The easiest way,,, Have your siblings rent a car for the day, and drive to Avignon to pick them up... It seems much more logical than having their parents do it on their own at their age. |
