I have to write 5 paragraph essays about universities in Spanish-speaking countries and i'm getting nowhere

You have several excellent universities in Spain
here are the three oldest ones (all founded in the 13th. century) with their websites...

Universidad de Salamanca...Salamanca Spain

www.usal.es (page in english with history of the university)

Universidad de Valladolid, Valladolid, Spain

www.uval.es ... (also has page in english with history)

Universidad de Alcal谩 de Henares, Alcal谩 de Hernares, Madrid, Spain
www. uah.es (again with page in english and history)

And in Latin America:

Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico UNAM,
Mexico City (D.F.), Mexico (founded in 1551)

www.unam.mx

Others are in
Bogot谩, Colombia
Quito, Ecuador,
Lima, Per煤 (they have several universities)
Buenos Aires, Argentina...
etc.
(On the university websites you'll have to click on a little english flag at the top of the page to get the english versions)
Good luck with your essays, with these websites you should have more than you need for your paragraphs!

research spanish countries and they will have links to their universities

Do you mean a page with 5 paragraphs? Or do you mean 5 pages all with 5 paragraphs each?

Do a search on different spanish speaking countries first.. then do a search on their colleges/universities..

How are they different from our universities here?

Do they have majors in English? Who teaches those English courses - someone hispanic speaking, or something who is naturally born speaking English?

What if you don't know Spanish well but wanted to be a student there - could you? How would you get through it?

Do any of those students from the spanish speaking universities come to the US as exchange students of some sort? How do they compare it to what they are used to?

Etc etc... :-)
