Why in Cabo (Mexico) none of the tourist is Mexican and are not menus in Spanish in the restaurants? The prices are so high the locals probably never go there. We just went out to dinner the other night in a small Pacific coast town and two Mexicans got Spanish menus and we two gringos got English .... what can you do ??? Because History now is turning around, Yankees are conquering Baja and good Mexicans are reconquering California, in California now almost everything is in Spanish or Spanglish because damn near everyone there is on vacation from the us and most of us don't speak spanish. they make their money from tourism in the area and menus in english are what the tourists want. |
