How do u read romanized korean characters? |
i dont want to learn korean or anything like that. i juz wanna know how to read the korean characters but like when they have letter in them. i think it's called romanized. any website that teaches that? It's hard! It's actually easier to read the actual Korean characters (Hangul/Hangeul/han-geul). The Koreans have an alphabet just like us. It's called Hangul. Each symbol represents a sound. They group the symbols together to make words. I learned Hangul when I was in Korea in the Army. So I can read their words but I don't always know what they mean. I'm not fluent in their language. It's just like seeing a word in spanish, you can pronounce it but might not know it's meaning. The way they group the symbols together to make words is they stack them together. There's one or two on top and one on the bottom. That group of symbols makes a sound. Then you add more to make a word. here a site: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/korean.h... You can find it here: |
