How do u read romanized korean characters?

i dont want to learn korean or anything like that. i juz wanna know how to read the korean characters but like when they have letter in them. i think it's called romanized. any website that teaches that?

It's hard! It's actually easier to read the actual Korean characters (Hangul/Hangeul/han-geul).

Case in point: the Korean characters are called Hangul, Han-geul or Hangeul, depending on which method you use for romanizing them. You'll see lots of different spellings. Confusing. The Korean characters are much simpler.

I learnt Korean characters at KoreanClass101.com, it's a site for teaching the Korean language. If all you're interested in is Hangul/hangeul/han-geul (I'm just gonna write 頃滉竴 from now on, it's easier) you'll probably pick it up really quickly.

^That's a video on how to write 頃滉竴. There's a series on it.

Most of the site is free (ALL the mp3s are) but the videos require you to sign up for a premium subscription. But if you sign up you get 7 days for free!

My suggestion is you go to the site, sign up (free), download all the videos within 7 days (there are only 4 videos!) and then practice, practice, practice.

Might sound complicated, but learning romanized characters is even more difficult. I've been learning Korean for about 6 months and I still haven't learnt the romanized alphabet.

頇旍澊韺? (Good luck!)

The Koreans have an alphabet just like us. It's called Hangul. Each symbol represents a sound. They group the symbols together to make words. I learned Hangul when I was in Korea in the Army. So I can read their words but I don't always know what they mean. I'm not fluent in their language. It's just like seeing a word in spanish, you can pronounce it but might not know it's meaning. The way they group the symbols together to make words is they stack them together. There's one or two on top and one on the bottom. That group of symbols makes a sound. Then you add more to make a word. here a site: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/korean.h...
