Korean heater type thing gas HELP lol!!!? |
ok so im american my husband is military and we live in a crap apt by camp casey and it runs off gas by city and we usually have it on like 70 and I didnt know it was celsius until today but anyways even at like 55 degrees it says it is in here celsius its still cold in this apt i mean some parts of the floor are warm but the apt itself is cold and 55 degrees celsius is 131 Fahrenheit! so im so confused what are we suppose to have the heat on to not use too much gas up and still keep this place warm? someone please help! btw tried the electric heater and royally screwed up with that we now have an 800+ electric bill due next month so im forced now to learn how to use this thing and would ask landlord lady but she doesnt speak good english and just looks at me lol and everyone else around here has kerosene thanks for your help btw is this why our gas bill is so high when we rarely use the heater? because we have it on like 70 celsius? ty You can control it as you lock and open the valves which are usually in the kitchen sink or utility room. warming the floor depends on what parts of the floor the pipes are buried. under. you just need to ask the landlord lady what valves are for which rooms in your flat. Check the water valves to the floor. There is a place (usually under the sink or in your utility room) that has a number of valves. Each one controls the hot water flow to each room. Make sure that all of them are turned on. Ask your husband to look on Camp Casey for a housing office. He should be able to get them to come out and look at your apartment and get the heat going for you. You were sup post to go to this office before you rented an apartment, to make sure you do not have a land lord that keeps the heat down. If not then he should have a katusa in his company that would be willing to come out and help, if you have no Korean friends as of yet. I should be in Camp Casey in a month or two (too late to fix your heating problem) This will be my first time there as a civilian and twenty years since i have lived in Korea. I will most like have a million question for this site soon. |
