Good recruiters for ESL in Korea?

I've been debating teaching in Korea. I have all of the qualifications, just nervous about possibly getting stuck in a bad situation. Do you know of any reliable recruiters or any to absolutely stay away from at all cost? Thanks....

I would recommend getting the job on your own without a recruiter. There are so many teaching jobs available in Korea, that you don't really need a recruiter. If you do go through a recruiter, they won't let you speak to another teacher at the school to get an honest assessment of what to expect. Recruiters are going to be telling you everything you want to hear.

These are two good sites for finding teaching jobs in Korea:

www.eslcafe.com
www.pusanweb.com

Unfourtuantely you are a beginner at this. You may need a recruiter to help you get used to finding a job in Korea. Put your resume and photo on
www.worknplay.co.kr
www.englishspectrum.com

Make sure you leave your email address and phone number. Make sure you see the contract before you send off your information to make a visa to teach. There should be salary of no less than $2,000 USD per month, with 50/50 insurance, housing, and pension. It should also state the hours that you must work. I would reccommend not working in a private school, but a public high school or university. Also some large companies in Korea need teachers for their executives. Those are the ultimate positions to have.

My friend, Dave, owns true-english.net He's American and has a Korean business partner. I know he's honest and a good guy.
