I had to do a visa run in Japan but when I tried to go back to S. Korea I was stopped.? |
Has anyone else had this problem? I over stayed my tourist visa. I had to return to the states. I left all of my stuff in Korea. I plan on going back but I will get an E2 work visa to teach ESL the next time. Are there any other pitfalls I should watch out for? What will my fine be if I try to return? The E-2 regulations changed December 15, 2007. You now need to get a health certificate and a criminal background check. You also need to have an interview with a member of the Korean consulate in your home country. check with the consular |
