How do I get a Korean TV to work in the US? |
If I bring back a TV from Korea, which runs on 220v & 50 Hertz, is there an easy way to get it to work in the US, which runs on 110v & 60 Hertz? I believe there are adapters that you can buy. I've purchased a few things that have the foreign plugs and usually I've had no trouble with getting the adapter for that style of plug. possibly talk to your cable company about it i dont know but im pretty sure u cant You can buy a power converter and adapter for the plug, since it won't plug into the wall the way it is. Just get an adapter at a local electricians shop. If you don't speak Korean well bring a Korean friend to translate. The mini adapters run between 1,500 and 3,000 won. i have a tv that i bought in korea. while u are there buy a addapter that plugs it into the tv cord and u can plug it into the wall in the us. it just changes the 3 weird plugs into the us ones. they are cheep to like $2. and ur tv will work in the us. and it wont hurt ur tv i had mine for 3 yrs now with the addapter |
