Koreans: what little things annoy you about foreigners? And...?

foreigners: what little things annoy you about Koreans?

There are a few things about Korea that annoy me, being a foreigner here in Korea. Some of these items would be -

1) Farting in public - especially, the growling, bubbly-sounding ones.
(I hope they don鈥檛 have 鈥渓eakage鈥?in their pants)

2) Burping in public
(I know it鈥檚 a part of the culture; I still can鈥檛 get used to it)

3) Peeing in public
(do the guys really believe being hunched-over, they鈥檙e invisible to others?)

4) 鈥淔oreigner Price鈥?either me or my wife get because we鈥檙e walking together and they see a possible 鈥渃heat the foreigner鈥?coming, when a price is asked

5) Puking (vomiting) in public
(what鈥檚 really nasty is the combination Soju / Ramyon smell emanating off the sidewalks / roads (and permeating the air) where the nasty 鈥渂oys鈥?leave their undigested deposit)

6) Korean guys telling me its okay to drink and then drive

7) Chewing gum loudly
(totally agree with Boom Blatz on this one)

8) Talking to themselves (one-sided conversation)

9) Cell-Phones - both talking loudly, regardless of people around them and while driving

10) Coughing / sneezing without covering their mouth / nose

11) Slurping in public
(again, I know it鈥檚 a part of the culture; I still can鈥檛 get used to it)

12) Sniffling instead of using a Kleenex

13) People letting their dogs crap on sidewalks and not being courteous enough to clean up after their pets.

14) Korean male drivers believing they are the best drivers in the world
(They actually believe Americans don鈥檛 know how to drive, I have been told numerous times!! In a sense, it鈥檚 true; Americans don鈥檛 know how to drive like complete idiots!)

this is not meant to be offensive, i go to a school with a very large asian student body. you asked... so here goes the language is really harsh on my ears and for some reason they always speak it to each other, very very loudly! it drives me nuts. plus i feel like they only talk to eachother, everybody else seems to form one united body of students, but for some reason the asian students only hang out with eachother and never speak english thus segregating them even more. whats with that??

In 2003-2004 I lived in Youngsan Korea for a year in the US Army. To deal with koreans you need to know a little about them Here are some facts:
They are very tuchy, they realy care about personal space like we do.
When walking down a street they wont move for you, so move or be hit. AND wach out for the motorbikes on the sidewalk.

Man, you are asking for trouble with this question.

But if you are interested in little things, I do not like to hear people eat. Koreans like to eat with their mouths open (one friend told me the food needs to be aerated) and smack their lips... a lot. Even with gum.
I have literally kicked people out of my car because they couldn't stop chewing like a cow with a mouthful of cud.

i hatee how they mock korean people-0-
just because korean people don't speak english well, they treat them like retards.

We don't like when they throw something at us. Also sometimes they smell bad. They sometimes have too much hair.

The fact that the crime rate over there is so low and you don't hear about all this sick crap people do here in the west. Damn it annoys me how they can drink in the streets and walk freely at anytime night or day without being mugged or raped. It also annoys me how all men at 21 yrs of age have to do mandatory military service for 2 years...so it teaches them how to be a man. Damn annoying how we can't adopt some of the family values of life. Oh well....
