If Hillary wins the US election, how will the US/Korea relationship be different?

Especially since Korea has recently elected a conservative president. Thank you!

Honestly, whether or not the last US President was a liberal or conservative, it would not change the basic differences in policy between Korea and the US.
Neither would have agreed with Roh's Sunshine Policy with the North. Neither a liberal or conservative American President would ever agree that continually pumping more and more money into the North without any positive result was in the American plan.
And any American President would also be on the same military withdrawal plan as well.
Liberals like to say we would have withdrawn quicker from Korea, but that's not true. Korea had a say in when we leave and their government wanted us to stay longer than ours thought necessary.
I doubt the relationship will change much with Korea, no matter who wins. American-Korean politics are not the biggest issue right now for the US. Post-election, American voters will be watching the Middle East.
That seems loike a big generalization, but I am an American living in Korea and I am constantly surprised at how LITTLE Korea ever gets mentioned in American news. No one at home ever knows what I am talking about. Last summer's hostage crisis was virtually unknown to my family and friends.
