Do you need a visa to go to korea if you are vietnamese?

i'm planning to go later on. i was wondering if you need a visa to visit korea. it's like a vacation to be exact. my nationality is vietnamese but i was born here in the U.S. so therefore i'm a U.S. citizen.

Nope. If you are a U.S. citizen, you do NOT need to get a visa and you can stay up to 30 days for each time.
