i was about to chat with one of my students through messenger, we are about the same age, i was the one initiated it , i said hI it was the first time for me to chat with him,then someone replied saying this is not my him, i told the person, then who is this then? then the person told me this is his gf..so I introduced myself as the teacher, then I told her his bf tells me nice things about him, then all of a sudden, my student tells me, oh my god, you are talking to my gf, im somewhere else,(he and his gf logged in at the same time, i suppose) and my gf logged in at home, then he said, hi honey to her i suppose,i'm confused, i told him, are you playing a trick on me? he told me, no. .then i said i had to go..he sounded alarmed. .i don't know why..

I don't think you did anything wrong.

Yes, I think you should keep a teacher - student relationship with him. I don't know your complete situation, but I wouldn't do any more of the messaging with him.

Some Korean guys are very sensitive about how western guys do when it comes to boy and girl. Because obviously most of the western guys in Korea staying as English teachers want Korean girls that are wanting to learn English. And the guys's English is a thing to take a full advantage of it. In the street when we see Korean girl and western guy couple, we think like ' what a stupid girl ' because most of the cases there is communication problem if then I think girls deserve to be called stupid. I mean those girls can easily be that stupid and this is maybe why your friend was sensitive about.
