How do you get TESOL?

I want to teach English in S. Korea. What is the best way to go about getting certified with TESOL??
Also, what are some good places anyone has found to teach English in Korea?

This page has some excellent information about teaching English in Korea:

Most places do not require TESOL, so I would consider the option of getting a job without putting the time and money into that.

For jobs, YBM and Pagoda are the leading language institutes in Korea. They're both solid companies with teaching positions available for adult students and children.

If you have some experience the best jobs are public schools and universities.

These are good sites to look for jobs:

The best places in Korea to teach are large companies like LG and Samsung. They always pay on time and abide by contracts. However they are very strict about you having a bachleors degree and they will want to see it before you are signed on. The pay is between 40 and 50,000 won per hour depending on your experience. You will usually put in less than 20 hours a week working. Little private schools are not worth it and promise you the world and give you the very least. The hours there suck and the pay is not worth it. Some of them go out of business and do not give the employees the money they are owed. Seen this many times.
